Four Corners reported chair Stephen Brown saying the Brothers province may be moved aside or removed in 12 to 18 months if Rome agrees. About $774 million in current and future child-abuse liabilities is reported through Guardian and court-scheme coverage. Settlements have been strained after insolvency moves.
